Iam sorry its Anelka's pic again..but I cant do anything..This guy is absolutely Red Hot at the moment..Hattrick in the last game brace in this one..he sure is Red Hot..but what had not been hot had been his performances, not today though..He was awesome..perhaps Drogba's return and Chelsea link to another striker has fired him up..His place wasnt secure..but if he plays like this it sure is..He has scored 11 goals in the premier league itself..now thats something..Ok now the match..I sometimes feel how did we lose against Roma??Chelsea played awesome soccer and had it not been for Robinson even the scoreline would have been more appreciative..Anelka in particular showed much more intent..and although his first goal was lucky, I think there isnt any doubt that he deserved one at that time..Once he was brought down when he had an open goal infront..and of course Robinson denied him thrice..I particularly liked his back header from the Lampard freekick..Bosingwa and Lampard were the next two most impressive performers..everyone was great..except Malouda..he was disastrous..so wasteful..making the wrong decisions everytime..I think Scolari should have given Di Santo a chance..I always say that..Lampard could have had another spectacular goal had his fantastic freekick gone in..Chelsea rocked in this match no doubt...
Meanwhile Arsene Wenger and his young Gunners beat Manchester United at the Emirates..Although a draw would have been the more favourable result here from Chelsea's point of view, I wanted Man Utd to lose..I really hate them..I'll support any team thats playing against them..Samir Nasri was great..I liked a headline on Goal.com "Nasri On Top, Ronaldo The Flop"..I so very liked it..Surprisingly a Man Utd player(Rafael Da Silva) managed to impress me..I think thats because he hasnt been in Ferguson's influence for long enough to ruin himself..Liverpool had a comfortable win over West Brom..and stay joint on points along with Chelsea..But Chelsea's goal difference is some +25..in 12 games..now thats WOW!!..
Michael Owen has been linked to a winter move to Chelsea according to The Sun..well we do need a striker no doubt..but is Owen the right one??I think yes..He's different from the kind of strikers we have right now..He's got great finishing skills..If Owen deal materialises fine..otherwise I feel Chelsea should look for a younger striker..someone like Podolski...anyways just a thought..

Anelka is such an enigma, and it's been a long time since he was lighting any league up. He's probably at the right club at the moment, where he's under pressure to prove himself, without being under too much pressure to be 'the man'. It probably is his last chance at a top European club.
exactly..this is his last chance..and doesnt seem to be letting it go..with drogba out of sorts i feel he is much needed at chelsea too..i hope he can continue this form..
