We all thought it was just a matter of time before Drogba announced his moved to Inter, after having supposed to have met the Inter directors.. says i never met them..and now Peter Kenyon has come out with a statement stating That there wont be any January signings and Didier Drogba will stay at Chelsea..I still dont think either of these is going to be true..Especially after seeing Drogba and his performances this season..and if he leaves, we ARE going to make new signings..Last season the same was said and look at what we got in January..Anelka, Di Santo, Ivanovic..thats quite something..so Iam sure theres going to be some additions..perhaps they will be funded by outgoing players rather than Roman..I have no problem with that..Drogba should go if he wants to..If we could have the same old passionate Didier Drogba of JM times, I'd refuse even a 100M to let go of him..but he simply isnt the same..so no point keeping him against his will..other possible movers could be Malouda or Kalou..I personally want Malouda out, he's not put in 1 satisfactory performance since the early stages..Kalou is better than him..much better..There were also rumors of Man City being interested in Ashley Cole..This is something that shouldnt happen..not at any cost..Ashley Cole is the best left back in the world according to me...he shouldnt go...The present Chelsea side is good enough both for the Premier and Champions league, but injuries to Carvalho, Joe Cole, Essien have affected the team a lot..esp Carvalho and joe Cole..Mikel i would say has played the Essien role to perfection..but definitely Ivanovi isnt Carvalho's standard..neither are Kalou or Malouda equivalent of Joe Cole..So if we'd have these players back it would be a big boost but then you cant expect the entire team to be fit for the entire season..so we need a bit of backup..Schweinsteiger could do wonderfully on the wings..I really think he would be the ideal addition...he would form a wonderful partenership with Joey..and then perhaps if Drogba leaves then Podolski perhaps..I know iam being a bit Germany centred..but these two are great players..and plus Huntelaar has been snapped up by Madrid..
Meanwhile Roy Keane has resigned as manager of Sunderland..Arsenal have been beaten 2-0 by Burnley..:D:D:D..and Gallas has started his wantaway buisness again..I hope this time he DOES score an own goal or two before going..:)
This weekend we face Bolton..Bolton have been going through a purple patch lately and could be a tough opposition..We might get Carvalho back this weekend..Oh thank god..perhaps Belleti too..but i dont think he'll find a place in the starting line up..Right now we're one point of Liverpool...If everything goes perfect we'll be back at the top by tommorow night..
