Ok so then its here again..two of the most succesfull sides in england over the last four seasons..Despite all the talk about the slump we're in and the John Terry suspension I am still feeling quite optimistic for this match..The draw against Southend is bound to produce a strong reaction and which other side would I want it against..Although we have had two draws on the trot but I still saw the old Chelsea in the last two games..esp against Fulham..had it not been for the wasteful strikers and late strikes we would have won them..Man Utd on the other hand have been just about scraping through their games with late goals..anyone would agree that they're not at their best either..I think Scolari should start with BOTH Drogba and Anelka..two strikers mean so much more..a 4-4-2 diamond can be played with the wing backs bombing forward as usual..and I dont want to see Deco start this one..Lampard, Ballack, Mikel and Joe Cole..no Deco please...he has been so poor lately..perhaps he could come on at half time for either Joey or Ballack comparing their performances..We have John Terry suspended but we do have Carvalho back..and as far as defending is concerned i rate Carvalho higher..although he and Terry form the perfect pair i think Alex would be fine too..one more person whom i'd like to see is Belleti..If we get a goal early I think Belleti should replace Bosingwa..Juliano is much better defensively..
One thing we must not forget is that Old Trafford is never a place you want to go to..one person was telling me that Chelsea's away record has been great and they should be happy that its an away game..if you think that way you're as naive as him..ever wondered why the away form was so great??Because we havent really faced a great team away..all the matches against the other Big three have been at home out of which we lost two..They are not like West Brom or Stoke..If you'd ask me I'd still prefer Stamford Bridge to any other venue..Winning this match is crucial for us..not only because Man Utd would have a chance to open up a 5 point gap over us(if they win their games in hand) but because it would really raise question marks over Scolari..Chelsea havent beaten a single top class team this season..this is a perfect opportunity..GO BLAST EM!!
