Chelsea 2-1 Wigan AthelticPhew!!! What a match!! The greatest thing about the result is that we're back in to second place after we overtook beaten Liverpool..The match awesome..I havent seen two teams attacking as freely as they did yesterday..but then what is worrying is that teams like Wigan are doing this at Stamford Bridge..I can imagine what other teams might do..Iam sure the only mistake we made was to not kill the game when we had the chances..but we won the game nonethless so Iam not complaining..
Standout performer of the day was Terry no doubt..he took his goal really well..and for a Centre half that was some finish..not to forget the contribution he made in defence..Mancienne was brilliant..it never looked that he was making his league debut..I think Hiddink made a great decision to play him infront of Belleti..and I really feel the need for Carvalho now..Alex is just not good enough..he's nowhere near the centre half of a top team like chelsea..Drogba put in another hard working and dangerous performance..Anelka was his usual low profile self..so was Ballack..We had so many chances..and the creation of most of them i'd attribute to Drogba's strong physical and Lampard's intelligent play..the only problem was when it came to finishing them..
