The Mother of All Battles..This Sunday will witness one of The Most Awaited Soccer Battles in Europe..
Chelsea are going into this clash being billed as favourites..That was quite expected considering Chelsea's Sublime and Man Utd's Disastrous early form..Chelsea will be boosted by John Terry's Red Card being turned over..They also have an almost full strength squad to chose from with Drogba and Ballack being the major doubts..Ballack could be intrumental if he plays..he has a thing for big matches..I still remember how he sunk the Red Devils last time they came to the Bridge..Defensively Chelsea definitely are the better team with Terry,Carvalho,Cole and the so far superb Bosingwa..Midfield has shown that it can make up with the Engine(Essien) out..full credit to Mikel..Lampard's recent form has been nothing short of exceptional..Deco was named the Player of The Month..need I say anything else..and If Ballack plays we'll be even stronger..The only problem could appear up front without Drogba..Joe Cole is great no doubt..but Malouda and Anelka..they will need to keep up their performance as it was in midweek against Bordeaux..Looking at the LineUp no questions to Chelsea being favourites..
P.S.-Chelsea have appointed former star Ray Wilkins as Assistant Manager I hope he is as good..
Now Man Utd..MAnchester United..The Mighty Red Devils might not have had the best of starts to the season but that was the case last Season as well..Ronaldo's possible return to the starting line up should act as a major boost..but still they are quite crippled by injuries and suspensions..Vidic is out..Berbatov has a swollen knee..Carrick is I guess doubtful..but still you can never write them of..Many have have claimed the poor start as a consequence of Carlos Queiroz's departure..Defence is going to be the major worry for the Red Devils..They have been guilty of defending very poorly in their last match against Liverpool where both the goals against them came via their own mistakes...Midfield is weak as well..Ronaldo might have a thing to say about that..but He's just come back and might not be at his best..The Attack is where Man Utd have a slight advantage considering Drogba doesnt start..They have Rooney,Tevez possibly Berbatov...dangerous..
Anyways I still think Its going to be 2-0 or even 3-0 to Chelsea..Quite simply because of the above mentioned reasons..Moreover The game will be played at the Stamford Bridge..The Fortress..GO CHELSEA!!!
