Another one..another one at home..another one against a struggling team..Thats 12 points this season..at home..a season or two before this would have sounded like a joke..but all the points dropped by chelsea this season (in the BPL) have been at home..This defeat wasnt deserved..for 60 mins there was only one team on the pitch..The first offside goal ruined the game..but then iam not saying we lost because of that..there were 25 mins to set things right but we didnt..Ok now i know i have critiscised Drogba for all that he's done, but right now i want him back..desperately..simply because player like Kalou and perhaps even Anelka are not effective in big games..
Scolari..I think he deserves a part of the blame for this loss and form..he made untimely and poor subs..and he's been doing that throughout...Mikel and Chelsea were playing so wonderfully until he was removed..I think what Scolari lacks is the ability to infuence and turn around games..This is the sort of situation where you need a Jose Mourinho...but then Scolari still has time..time to prove his worth..
With the loss we lost the Top spot once again to Liverpool..who drew with West Ham..Ok 1 point isnt big but I see this is as an opportunity to have opened up a gap..an opportunity that we missed..Arsenal are now 7 behind us and Man Utd 5(witha game in hand)..so its still a 4 horse race...Short post today..c ya..
