I saw him..I saw the same old Drogba..Bullying defenders and using his strength to the best effect..It wasnt the goal that made the difference..His presence sparked new life in Chelsea..He adds that extra dimension to the Chelsea attack..The one we really lacked and needed..I dont want him to go anywhere now..If Chelsea are to win The Champions League a player like Drogba is very necessary..he is the sort of player who relishes the Big Games..Why do you think we have lost to Liverpool and Arsenal and just drew against Man Utd??I think Drogba would have made a huge difference there..Anelka has been phenomenal this season but hasnt scored one goal against a quality opposition..and neither has he performed well in those games either..so this is where Drogba comes in..The Champions League is all about class..about beating BIG teams..which Chelsea have'nt been able to do..
Chelsea's performance in the match wasnt too good..until ofcourse Drogba took the pitch..Before that it was very dull except for a few bright bright moments from Deco and Mikel..Mikel was awesome..He's the man of the match for me..the clearence of the line was fantastic..I had earlier said that Essien's injury might find us a new star..and now Iam saying It has..Mikel is the new Makelele..Despite the Victory against Cluj we finish 2nd in our group..now we could face any team from Juventus or Real Madrid, Liverpool, Lyon or Bayern,Barcelona etc..I wish its Barca..I'd love to see us beat them..or even Liverpool..Just dont want it to be Bayern..I cant bear watching two of my favourites against each other..
